Before any technique, you need a solid base. This lesson covers:

  • Horse Stance (Ma Bu) — progressive hold times for leg strength
  • Bow Stance (Gong Bu) — weight distribution and alignment
  • Cat Stance — lightness and readiness
  • Stance transitions — connecting movement smoothly

This is Lesson 2 from the full course. The complete Foundation program includes 15 technique breakdowns, conditioning drills, and application demonstrations.

Solid foundation course. The conditioning work is no joke — my legs were shaking after the first stance session. Appreciate that Master Li emphasizes proper form over speed. Wish there was a community forum to connect with other students, but the email support is responsive.
